Ayame Bluebell (she/her)

Ayame was raised in Echo Park, a neighborhood near Downtown LA. Her mother is an immigrant from Japan, and my father is a military veteran from Michigan. She is interested in using stem cell research to find regenerative medicine for aging-related diseases like Alzheimer’s or cancers. Her main goal in becoming a researcher is to help older adults and make the aging process more comfortable. Ayame describes herself as a crazy cat lady. She not only own cats, but has also fostered and volunteered at animal shelters. Ayame also enjoys spending time with my family and going to the beach.
