Gemma Landa
Gemma was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents are from Mexico, specifically from Morelos and Jalisco. Most of the family members that she interacts with live in Morelos. Her research interests are broad right now, but she would deeply enjoy working in the development of therapies for human diseases. She loves trying new restaurants, tasting wine, and painting. Gemma is looking forward to getting to know other scholars and narrowing down my research interests for graduate school applications!
